The "GAMERS' designed their own t-shirts this year. This design was created by Alex Culkin using minecraft. We sold 35 shirts which we hope everyone will wear for Thursday game day, Game Nights and on our field trips. But I have a terrible memory so someone will definitely need to remind me!
We will sell them again next fall. The cost was low because we dealt with a local company, Custom Logo. Gamers could get their last name or gamer name on the back.
Check back (fall 2016) to place your order for a t-shirt.

The trip to SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica, NY was amazing! We enjoyed every single minute, starting with the bus ride out and a big basket of candy.
Our first appointment was with an admissions counselor. She gave us an overview of the available programs, activities and clubs. She described the application procedure, SAT/ACT testing requirements, required letters of recommendation and the all important factor: COST.
Did you know that the NanoScience College of Engineering has been ranked number 1 in the nation in higher education research? Passing Duke, MIT, and Stanford?
We were also surprised by the number of clubs on campus. There is everything from a Game Design group, Magic the Gathering, Nursing club to Dungeons and Dragons. All it takes is eight students to form a club to receive funding and space.
Next up was a tour of the entire campus. No stone or building was left unturned. We saw the Library, Campus Center, Field House, dormitory (even visiting one of the rooms). But the highlight was the last stop, the dining hall.
We ate lunch until we were full and then we ate again! The dining area is set up cafeteria style but there were at least 6 different food stations ranging from traditional pizza to juicy cuts of tender roast beef.
Check out the slide show of our day!
